Description
Lyrids Meteor Shower 2023 – Camping
What is Meteor Shower?
Meteor shower is a stunning display of bright meteors that are seen when the Earth passes through a stream of dust and debris left behind by the various comets.
About Lyrids Meteor Shower 2023 – Camping
The Lyrids Meteor Shower is active during the third week of April (between 16th and 25th) every year. It usually peaks around April 22 or 23.
This year (2023) is going to be excellent for viewing Lyrids Meteor Shower. This year it’s peaking over the weekend – the night between Saturday and Sunday. Also, the moon will not be there to disturb us by brightening the sky. But, the only condition is we have to drive at least 3-4 hours away from the city and if possible camp on a hill to watch.
